It seems strange now but before this compilation release, and despite four solo albums to his name and a posthumous 1994 comp released by Philip Glass, it wasn't until this release that Russell started to finally receive the credit he deserved.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThis release focuses on the more dance-floor friendly side of Russell's genius but also delivers some of his more subdued and introspective works.
